Rumors and speculation
[edit]I think it's acceptable to include a very brief, very neutral (if that's possible) sentence or 2 about the "backstage" trouble that is being chatted about all over the place. I would, however, say that it was Michael Riedel, in his NY Post column of 9/19/07 who said "..." rather than the "chateratti on ATC" are gossiping about... I suspect that he will write about this in his regular Wednesday column, but, as I've mentioned, I will be away from the internet starting Wednesday till mid-October, so, ... - link to Mr. Riedel's column: [1]
- I was really joking about the referencing--I can't imagine anyone citing gossip on the internet in a serious Wikipedia article.JeanColumbia 20:05, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Ouch! The NY Post article is pretty scathing. It's a citable source, but it is hard to parse the counter accusations, and I am not eager to rely on the NY Post's reporting on this controversy. I'm content to wait around until more reliable sources are available. But if NY Post is right, I'd say that this was Quaid's first *and last* B'way-bound production, unless he produces himself. Meanwhile, have a good wikibreak, and thanks for your help with the Collaboration of the Month earlier. I think we made a lot of progress. Best regards, -- Ssilvers 20:13, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
