Same as below, check the library. Google might archive old newspapers. I seem to remember something about that.173.58.64.64 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:25, 27 September 2010 (UTC).[reply]

LA Examiner Comics page, a particular comic strip

[edit]

Hi, my name's Jim Kern. I am hoping that someone'll remember the name of the comic strip that was available in the Examiner in the mid-60s that I recall as a kid reading. It had as a main character a freckle-faced boy with a straw hat and overalls. He had a friend, a girl-can't recall if neighbor or cousin or ??? I would say 'Lil Nubbin or Jerry but Wikipedia's of no help on this. Does anyone recall such a strip, please? Let me know. Thanks. jaasak@adelphia.net

Check with your local library. They probably have archives of it on microfilm.173.58.64.64 (talk)

Strike coverage

[edit]

Coverage of the strike seems to be taken from one source, which appears to be a blog. http://library.csun.edu/SCA/Peek-in-the-Stacks. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 13:07, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
