SR 1950[edit]

The article states in the infobox that part of the Loudoun County Parkway is (or will be) SR 1950, but there is nothing in this article that details where that section is. Is it, by chance, where the [citation needed] is? --Tim Sabin (talk) 01:46, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The "citation needed" is referring to the planned construction date, but since it's now mid-2009 and there is no sign of construction, anyone's guess is valid. SR 1950 is between Old Ryan Road and Smith Switch Road. Ryan Road used to be Route 772, and when Loudoun County Parkway took over that part of Ryan Road, it retained the number (LC Pwy used to end at Old Ryan & Ryan, but now continues a mile or so south...no number signs are up yet south of Ryan Road). Smith Switch Road is SR 607, and that used to go to Route 7. When LC Parkway took over that, it retained the SR 607 designation, and was extended south from Smith Switch over a road whose name I forget, but the number is 1950. Confusing? Yes. Make sense? I hope. I have pictures, and I can find some pictures if need be. --MPD T / C 05:16, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed[edit]

As of Feb. 2013 considerable road construction and realignments have occurred in Loudoun County, making much of this article obsolete. It needs someone to review and update the description of the Loudoun County Parkway path. Btm1 (talk) 07:07, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Update needed[edit]

As of Feb. 2014 the Loudoun County GIS map shows only SR-606 for the southern portion and SR-607 for the northern (entire continuous, plus future planned to intersection w/ 606/Old Ox Road) portion. BGS's on SR-7 and SR-267 both call Loudoun County Parkway SR-607. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.216.162 (talk) 18:54, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
