Deletion request

[edit]

I want to propose deletion of the article. Although Carey did indeed state that Love Story will be the next single, it is at least 2 more months until a third single will be released. This time frame is enough to justify deletion - in 2005, for example, Carey stated that "Say Somethin'" was the third single from the album emancipation of mimi, yet it turned out that the more popular shake it off was chosen as the third single. This is noteworthy, given that artist themself either yield to popular demand or to a record company's demands. A shot video is not sufficient to prove that it will indeed be released. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.214.17.5 (talk) 23:55, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, "Say Somethin'" was the fifth U.S single, not third.---¤÷(`[¤*M*¤]´)÷¤- 01:43, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's what he said. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 19:45, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure of all that I have placed into this article. Just follow the references and listen to the FULL interviews and you'll see.---¤÷(`[¤*M*¤]´)÷¤- 18:58, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Single cover

[edit]

The current cover art appears to be inaccurate. The editor who uploaded it claims it is from www.mariahcarey.com but it does not seem to appear there. Furthermore if it really was the single cover, where is the title and Carey's name? It should be removed till an official cover has been posted by a reliable source.Reqluce (talk) 11:07, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
