host in the doubles tables
[edit]there is a chance, depending on the interpretation of the rules, that the CHN entry would replace SVK not the second LAT entry. I don't believe that to be true, but if there is a persuasive reason please make that change.18abruce (talk) 14:13, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
- Additionally, since sleds in the top 50 men's qualify, and there is a big tie for 47th, it is possible that to make the top 50 that tie should be broken and not all 47th ranked NOCs qualify. The impact would be that Moldova would be out and USA would get a third sled.18abruce (talk) 14:42, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
reallocation
[edit]Something is not quite right with how this is listed. I do not believe that either Moldova or Bulgaria would pass on quotas, and the FIL does not clearly say who was next for reallocation, just who is next in the standings. It is an interpretation of, "quota places will be allocated to the next highest ranked eligible athlete/doubles team from an NOC that has not earned a quota place according to D.1". Perhaps that is meant across all three categories?18abruce (talk) 15:55, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
