2605:E000:D604:2E00:6023:D5A3:8D6F:9BD9 (talk) 04:53, 2 April 2018 (UTC) Today I saw this ship off of Lahaina marina in Maui, Hawaii. The areas of operation are out of date but since I don’t have a verified source, I won’t update the article[reply]

Renaming[edit]

I would normally not consider moving a ship article to a new name before it was in operation as such and receiving citable coverage. However, in this case the article was prematurely moved to a name under which it remained laid up with no known operational plans. After the ship's resale in 9/2022, it has been renamed, and is now in mid-refit; the inaugural cruise is scheduled for February 2023 and a full year's cruises are being sold by CFC Croisières. Striclty speaking the article should be moved back to "MS Maasdam", historically it's only well-known name, but that doesn't seem very constructive (it is already a redirect here). So I have moved it to the new name. Davidships (talk) 10:43, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
