There are several factual errors in this article.

First, "Oglebay Norton Company in Clevland, Ohio" did not build the ship. Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin built the ship.[1]

Second, the implication of the previous statement is that Oglebay Norton was the first company to own the ship. The ship was christened Lewis Wilson Foy and was owned by Bethlehem Steamship. Bethlehem did not sell the ship to Oglebay Norton until 1990. At this time, the ship was renamed Oglebay Norton.[2]

Third, the statement that "Her other former names are: Colombia Star, and the Lewis Wilson Foy (this was her first name)." is incorrect. While the ship was originally named Lewis Wilson Foy, she was never called Columbia Star. The Columbia Star is a separate ship built in 1981 at Bay Shipbuilding. She is now known as American Century.[3]

Fourth, the statement that "She runs on a load of coal that could power an average home for 10,000 years." implies that the ship uses coal as fuel. She uses diesel fuel to power her diesel engines[4]. Perhaps this was supposed to mean that the ship's cargo is a "load of coal that could power an average home for 10,000 years". This statement may or may not be true; I cannot find a reference to support or to deny it.

The article has no citations and many facts are incorrect.
