Malay state
[edit]I think there is something wrong the title of this article, despite being a convenient term to describe states whose rulers are entitled to elect and be elected the King of the Federation. Is this term only applicable to the period prior to Independence? Or is it still applicable and used today? I cant find any satisfactory source using the term 'Malay states' to refer to the states which has a hereditary ruler. The constitution also does not contain this term but instead uses terms like: "States not having a Ruler" and ambiguously defines "Ruler" as "any person who in accordance with the constitution of that state exercises the functions of the Ruler". ќמшמφטтгמtorque 03:11, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. It's also an ambiguous term. Icarustalk 05:51, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
