The title of the album, "Man Plans God Laughs", is a well known English translation of a Yiddish proverb: "Der mentsh trakht un got lakht"
[edit]This has been repeatedly added to the article and repeatedly removed by Koala15. His first explantion for removing this fact was "No one cares, its not notable." Yet there are articles on the internet talking about it it from wide circulation mainsteam sources proving that people do care about this. The second explanation given by Koala15 was "this is trivial at best, none of those sources have anything to do with this album." That is blatantly false because two of the articles referenced were about the album and they mentioned the Yiddish proverb. Ironically to try to hide or censor this information goes against everything Public Enemy stands for. However, that doesn't matter. It's a fact and I have noted it in in this entry with neutrality. Even if it were "trivial" in someone's opinion that doesn't mean it is not valid to include in the article. It is routine to discuss the background of the title of an album, song or any artwork and such information is given on numerous wikipedia entries on music albums. A more productive thing to do would be to add more general information about the album to this article. [1][2][3][4]Central16 (talk) 07:25, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
Two professional reviews boxes
[edit]There are two. The only difference is one has a Vice review and the other has a Noisey review. Could someone look into these and create one completed review box? 2601:601:D01:7740:6538:F9F2:10CE:51E8 (talk) 07:27, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
