True marathon length[edit]

Anything less than three films or six half-hour programs in succession is not considered a marathon. Some inferior cable stations try to pass off a four-episode block as a "marathon". --The_Iconoclast (talk) 10:42, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

are you joaking if you watch two of the lord of the rings films thats DEFIANTLY a marathon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.39.250.6 (talk) 16:42, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bad move[edit]

The article was better titled before the [move]. "Marathon (media)" is unclear, is it the media running a marathon? It is not WP:NATURAL. "Movie marathon" *is* natural and familiar, and is inclusive of all forms of media used in movies marathons (YouTube shows moving pictures. I've never heard of a song-listening "marathon"). --SmokeyJoe (talk) 14:04, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About the longest marathon[edit]

Wasn't FXX's Simpsons Marathon beaten recently by VH-1's SNL Marathon? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rouge2 (talkcontribs) 21:16, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
