More information on the winners
[edit]This link provides this type of info on each past winner.
- Serge Courville- Historical geographer, for his outstanding contribution to the knowledge of 19th and 20th century society in Canada, particularly in Quebec.
Ambiguity: Some links to this article refer to the architecture award
[edit]The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada awarded a "Massey Medal" for design 8 times between 1950–1970. This lapsed for a decade, until it was reborn as the Governor General's Medal in Architecture in 1982. If someone feels ambitious, they could dig up some relevant history and untangle the two. See Shore Tilbe Irwin + Partners for an example of the other use. 76.67.17.208 (talk) 02:56, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have redirected the articles such as Upper Canada College, Ottawa Train Station, and Shore Tilbe Irwin + Partners to Governor General's Award as they pertain to the architecture award. There is a discussion on that page to separate out the different Governor General's Award, so these same articles will likely need to be redirected again. Clerks. (talk) 19:02, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
