I suggest merging this page with mate, also a DAB, per WP:DPAGES. The guideline gives examples of various DAB mergers including honor and honour, Oe and Ōe, and OE and O.E. I think mate and maté falls well within this guidleline. Kauffner (talk) 13:15, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
