[edit]A fascinating article, with compliments to Charles. Perhaps the historical section can be condensed a bit. Another stylistic point is whether the whole article should be historical, or whether we can state that melasma suprarenale is a symptom of Addison's and Nelson's syndrome before dwelling on its history.

- Addison's is not normally treated empirically with antibiotics. Only if there is a history of tuberculosis would this be sensible. JFW | T@lk 19:24, 10 August 2005 (UTC)
I'm deleting all original research. Most is amateur history, speculation and sheer nonsense (antibiotics for tuberculosis-induced hypoadrenalism decrease the pigmentation???).
