With the coming of Ubuntu's Migration Assistant (
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MigrationAssistance ), and with the term being very generic for "Helping a user move from one platform to another" (for example, Firefox's importing of Bookmarks from IE), perhaps this page should be moved to Migration_Assistant_(Apple) or something of the like? 126.96.36.199 12:21, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Copy or erase from old computer? [ edit ]
Does the migration assistant copy files or erase them from the old computer? What happens if one migrates the same data twice? If the data has changed in between?
