I'm puzzled about the facts in this article. The text states that these units were based in all of the Italian African Colonies, but of the 7 legions, 4 were based in Ethiopia, 2 in Eritrea, & 1 in Somalia -- where are the units based in Libya? -- llywrch 18:43, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Libya was considered party of Italy so it had its own MVSN.--Degen Earthfast (talk) 18:13, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update

The original article cited that the Blackshirts had seven legions. This is a sweeping statement considering the fact that there are sources that provide varying numbers, particularly according to specific military campaigns such as World War II. I have edited this part, attributing the reference to seven legions only in the case of the Ethiopian invasion. Darwin Naz (talk) 23:49, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
