BabyPedia
[edit]Kautilya3 Its funny you accuse me of "edit warring" when your'e the one reverting my edit which comes from a reliable source. BabyPedia is the first website that comes up on Google search about the name yet you see it as "unreliable." Not only that, but go ahead and type the name "Mirwais" in Google Scholar, all the searches rally down to Afghanistan yet NONE on Kashmir. Go figure. I am going to go insert the source back in because its the best we've got. Akmal94 (talk) 00:40, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Akmal94, welcome to Wikipedia. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's reliable source policy. All edits that do not conform to the policy will be reverted. You are welcome to look for sources that conform to the criteria, and then we can have a discussion. Repeatedly reinstating content that is flagged as problematic will lead to blocks. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 10:40, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Block me for bringing forward a Valid source? That sounds very pessimistic of you. Did you even bother to type in "Mirwais" into Google Scholar to see the hits? All of them tally down to Afghanistan which proves the name is of Afghan origin. It means "Enligthned ruler" in Pashto. IF that's not enough for you, then here is another source that shows all the notable people with the name at the bottom of the page and they all happen to be Afghan. https://www.names.org/n/mirwais/about Akmal94 (talk) 23:32, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
- names.org is not a reliable source. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 20:00, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
