Mecaphesa?

[edit]

In arachnology, there is a current trend (especially in the west coast/midwest) to refer to genus Misumenops as Mecaphesa. Because many people who are likely searching the wiki for this animal, I have added Mecaphesa asperatus to the Synonym table. If you search bugguide.net, you will only find this animal ranked as Mecaphesa asperatus instead of Misumenops asperatus 134.50.156.119 (talk) 23:40, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

First Citation/Remove NO CITATION error tag?

[edit]

I updated the page and added citations from Howell's 2004 overview, so can we remove the NO CITATION tage on the page? I also linked to some of the more important anatomy pages (e.g., trichobothria, as they are diagnosic of the species). I also added a picture of a sub-adult female. Will update with superior image when possible! AlaskaDave (talk) 02:57, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
