Please change "in Los Angeles and Monica attended Sinai Akiba Academy, its religious school." to "in Los Angeles and Monica attended Sinai Akiba Academy, it's religious school." There is a grammar error (its to it's). Orangecacti (talk) 05:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- Not done "Its" is actually correct in this case, as "it's" is a contraction of "it is" or "it has". aboideautalk 14:57, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Can we please just say "Monica Lewinsky is Jewish" in her "early life" section?
The entirety of the first paragraph of her "early life" section is filled with information about how other people she's related to is Jewish, and then the second paragraph goes into the temple and religious school she attended. At no point does it say "Monica Lewinsky is Jewish". This is, frankly, antisemitic and a problem on a LOT of wikipedia pages. It's okay to say she's Jewish. Even if she's not religiously active now (which, I don't know if she is or not), she is STILL JEWISH. Please let's stop trying to hide that in an unnecessarily convoluted pair of paragraphs without ever calling her OR her parents Jewish. If her patrilineal grandparents are both jewish, and her matrilineal grandmother is jewish, then both her parents are jewish, and so is she. Ruffboimags (talk) 04:40, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Ruffboimags: This is not antisemitic. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's article does not say "Abdul Kalam was Muslim" in the Early Life section. That does not make Wikipedia Islamophobic. Similarly, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's article does not say "Vajpayee was Hindu" in the Early Life section. That does not make Wikipedia Hinduphobic. In many articles, the religion of the person is not really so notable that you have to state it as a blunt fact like your suggestion. 1.186.13.72 (talk) 07:12, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
Under known for
Monica Lewinsky is more than the scandle. Under her "known for" section, could we please add "anti-bullying activist"? Thank you Ajpopkov (talk) 08:09, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
