On recent retargeting

[edit]

@Xfansd: Hello, I saw your recent retarget of this page and was wondering if you could give some explanation for why this needs to be done. I may just not understand what this term's connotation is, but to me it seems that the previous redirect was more appropriate, because someone typing the name Mr. Ho is probably looking for a person (Akira Toriyama) not their theater (Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater). Is there something I'm missing? Thanks, Gluons12 | 02:38, 19 October 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Mr. Ho is not a real-life person, it is a short manga written by Akira Toriyama. The story was later collected into the second volume of Akira Toriyama's Manga Theater, a series collecting many of his short stories. While the story is not notable enough for its own article, the Manga Theater collection is and I'm in the process of improving that article. So rather than redirecting to the person who wrote Mr. Ho, it is better to redirect to the article for a book it was published in that will eventually include more info about it. In that case, this redirect is probably more appropriate. Gluons12 | 12:27, 19 October 2016 (UTC).[reply]
