Talk:Music Reports

Music Reports is responsible for significantly advancing the methodology of securing compulsory copyright licenses for online music services. This, their core methodology combined with the intellectual property has enabled digital music services - such as MySpace Music, Slacker, Lala, Sandisk, MediaNet, Zune and numerous others to launch with library catalogs of millions of sound recordings. Music Reports owns and manages the largest independent database of music copyright in the world, with ownership information for over 12 million compositions. Further, the company invented the process of per program music licensing for television broadcasters and, as the article states, serves the major broadcasters, Harpo Productions (Oprah), QVC and HSN as clients who utilize this effective model for reducing the costs of music licensing in their programming. In reviewing the merit of this article, I would suggest reviewing similar articles for MySpace Music, and Tunecore. - Hi Fortyninegroup.
Well, I believe this is not an un-controversial case, so it would require at least a discussion. Can you please try to show that this topic passes the notability guideline for companies laid out in WP:CORP? In particular, was this company covered in detail in multiple independent reliable sources?

I will look to establish that the topic passes the notability guideline and will expand the sources. Fortyninegroup (talk) 02:24, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
