Capitalisation

[edit]

There are three different renditions throughout the article: both words capitalised, only Tino capitalised, and neither word capitalised. Which is correct? - Julietdeltalima (talk) 01:01, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Julietdeltalima In honesty, I'm not certain. In the Tino rangatiratanga article, it is lower case except in the title and the mention of the flag. I suppose, since it is the title of a flag, both words should be capitalized. I updated it for consistency.  Not A  Witty Fish 01:09, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think you're right, because the term appears to be more like "Union Jack", i.e. the name of this specific flag design, versus, as the first example that comes to my mind right now, "South African national flag" that generically refers to multiple designs. Best to be consistent and the vexillologists can do an efficient search-and-replace if we're wrong! Thanks for your input!
