Merged into Marine Corps Base Hawaii
[edit]I appreciate that this article was split off from Marine Corps Base Hawaii several years ago but this seems to be a mistake. Despite having been a separate article for over two years, no real information has been created that is not already available on Marine Corps Base Hawaii or Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay. In either case, I believe this article should be merged into one of them (I would prefer Marine Corps Base Hawaii). Palm_Dogg (talk) 22:03, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- From what I can tell, NAS K-Bay essentially just handed over its runways to MCAS K-Bay. I think that makes more sense for a redirect, but yes, I agree that it should be merged to at least one of the two; military installations that are repurposed are usually included in the history section of the article for its current name, like Naval Air Station Miramar (the only exception I can think of is a closed airbase becoming a civil airport). bahamut0013wordsdeeds 20:50, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- I will leave this open for one week and then merge into MCAS K-Bay. Palm_Dogg (talk) 01:20, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
