Questioning inclusion of Arts District as Neighborhood

[edit]

I believe it is false to list The Arts District, which has its own page, as a Portland neighborhood which it is not in both the technical sense and in a common understanding of "neighborhood." Also, it is not listed on the city's official list of neighborhoods (https://www.portlandmaine.gov/942/Neighborhoods-Islands). I'm a newbie Wikipedia editor so it would probably not be cool for me to excise this. Thoughts? Machigonne (talk) 16:08, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Downtown?

[edit]

As I just mentioned above. Another one-of-these-things-is-not-like-the-others is the inclusion of "Downtown" as a neighborhood. It provides nothing but a link to the Old Port which is already listed on it's own as a valid neighborhood. I'd vote for the removal of Downtown to tidy up this page.
