Redundant tables[edit]

The tables regarding the CFP appearances and CFP title appearances appear redundant with those on teh CFP and CFP championship game articles.

Since this article is specifically on the New Year's Six bowl games, I feel like those tables shouldn't be in this article and are more at home on the previously mentioned article.

In fact, I think it would make sense to remove the CFP championship appearances from the NY6 tables as well, since that isn't technically a NY6 bowl and introduces the Appearances vs. Games concept unnecessarily. Zaqwert (talk) 06:36, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wins vs Appearances[edit]

Alabama is listed as having the most NY6 wins with 8, yet Ohio State is listed as having the most NY6 appearances with 7. Can someone reconcile this? Scott.Ibbotson (talk) 00:18, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That is correct. Teams can win more than one game per appearance. DAWGinRoswell 12:37, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
