Phoenix exit

[edit]

Is the Phoenix exit a partial - half-diamond? I went to SUNY Oswego 20 years ago and went to Syracuse (naturally, via 481) a lot and I seem to recall an exit with a northbound-only offramp and a south-bound onramp. Is this still the case? Fwgoebel 04:32, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the NY 264 exit is now a complete diamond [1]. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 04:55, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
NY 264 always was, but there is a half-diamond interchange further south. It's been awhile since I was up that way, I think it's just marked "Phoenix" without a route number. It's about 2.3 miles south of NY 264 along NY 481. I don't have a quick way of linking to its precise location, but I measured the route on Google Earth. Now that I think of it, NY 264 is marked "Mexico" northbound and "Phoenix" southbound, with the half-diamond being the northbound exit marked "Phoenix". Fwgoebel 05:28, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct - there is a half-diamond exit with Huntley Road about 2 1/2 miles south of 264. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 05:37, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
