Done Confusing: "As many like him Tikhonov climbed up the Soviet hierarchy through the 'industrial ladder'; by 1963 he had become Deputy Chairman of the Gosplan."
- GDone rammar issue + change the 1963 office to a broader statement of his climb. "From peasant to Vice Premier" as an example.
Besides that, good!

Early life and career

Done I'm unsure of the policy on this, but maybe remove the red links.
Done Comma after '1930 to 1941'
Done That same sentence is a run-on
Done "that he met" in first sentence of first paragraph
Why? Change link of All-Union Communists to labeling it 'Bolshevik' Party for clarity sake.
- The party wasn't known as the Bolshevik Party in the 1920s, 1930s and other decades. The official name of the party was the All-Union Communist Party, I can change it to Communist Party if that term is better. Is it? --TIAYN (talk) 18:43, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe put a picture here to make it easier to read the long block of text.

Yes Is "Secretaryship" a word?

Done Change title of section to "Later life and death". Removing the years are key because of the later references to things built in his honor; all of which happened after he died.
