Announcement

[edit]

I know that this page was previously deleted due to it being speculative but the D60 has just been officially announced and the press-release can be found here. Also I'm new to this, so if you see something that needs fixin' up, please feel free! Also it's pretty late here so I didn't have time to fully write as much as I wanted in the article but I did fill out the info box as completely as I could.

Hey, you did a good with it! I just went through and cleaned up the grammar and style to bring it in line with other articles on DSLR cameras. We still need an article on the Pentax K200D if you're up for that ;-) ǝɹʎℲxoɯ (contrib) 15:16, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top LCD Screen

[edit]

common in higher-end DSLRs The D50 has one, but isn't it considered entry level, too, making this line inaccurate? --70.253.131.173 (talk) 21:04, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All that it means is that higher-end DSLRs very commonly have top LCD screens (I don't know of any non-entry-level model from Canon, Nikon, Pentax, or Olympus that lacks one). Some entry-level DSLRs have them as well, such as the D50 or the Pentax K100D. The sentence is perfectly consistent with that, I'd say. ǝɹʎℲxoɯ (contrib) 21:09, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Moxfyre. In fact I don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that ANY dSLR DIDN'T have a top LCD screen until the D40. SyBerWoLff 05:16, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
