This page contains incorrect information, there will be no reaction with sodium borohydride and a nitrile, sodium borohydride is not a strong enough reducing agent.

I added some more information about the reduction to aldehydes and a mechanism. Let me know if I should make any changes.Aw4809 (talk) 21:28, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mechanistic puzzle

The mechanism for the reduction of a nitrile to an aldehyde with DIBAL-H.
