Pilot fatalities
[edit]Excellent article, but when I was reading about the squadron losing Spitfires in aerial battles over northern Australia, I wondered how many of the pilots survived being shot down, survived with injuries, or didn't make it, if this information is available. - Yes, this would be great. I haven't seen a total figure for fighter and fighter pilot casualties over northern Australia but will keep my eyes out - the literature on this topic is surprisingly sparse. Nick-D (talk) 09:32, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
- Anthony Cooper's book Darwin Spitfires will give you some of the information you seek. 60.242.72.126 (talk) 23:46, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
