[edit]This "article" has numerous issues. Its title is unclear and it comprises solely of one-line etymologies of some Indian state names. The scope of the article seems to be arbitrarily determined. Why limit it to the North East? Ideally, the etymlogies should be merged into the respective state articles unless there is potential and a need for a more comprehensive article on Indian state name etymologies in general.
