"American English" is, by its very definition, not Normal English, so it should not be on this page. I would remove it myself, but someone will probably revert it so I won't bother. 94.9.69.114 (talk) 05:34, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you can provide a widely accepted definition of "Normal English" that says that American English is not Normal English then it can be removed. I have looked and have not found a definition that is widely accepted across the English speaking world. I found a definition that is accepted in the UK/England but it is limited to that region.
