[edit]Losing this show is a big loss to many. I having been watching NWA since the summer of 1988. My favorite hosts are Kent and Elisa. It hasn't been the same after losing Elisa Jaffe. AAAHHH Cindi. What will life be without Cindi Rinehart. She is the best. She makes you want to watch soaps! My kids grew up watching Cindi. They used to ask if it was time for Cindi to come on!! If you never saw this show, you missed something special! There must be a Cindi fan club somewhere... Dick, Dana, Cindi, Kent, Elisa.... Thank you for all the great years of entertainment.
I came to washington state from new york, middle of junior year of high school. new to the area. didnt go to middle school with those kids. So I didnt know anybody. I came home from school, and northwest afternoon was on. I watched general hospital and northwest afternoon. then I left washington state july 1987. facebook has become an unfortunate reality: my friends and acquaintances from those two years dont want to be bothered. I just am amazed how cindi rinehart lasted on northwest afternnon for 24 years. what a racket, getting paid to talk about soaps. great work if you can get it. I wish I had more success during my few years of high school and college in washington state. unfortunately my memory, is cindy rinehart on tv. Im glad that an icon that I remember on Seattle tv endured that long. Im glad she was on that long. even though I didnt know her, she is a shred of something to remember from my time there. I remember ross schaefer. But ross moved to california and became a producer and actor for training and self-help videos, something like that. In 2008 she sold her house in west seattle. beautiful house. the realtor posted a video on youtube. Seattle is a beautiful place. If I ever have the money to move, Im going back to seattle. Ill be much older, and wont have friends up there, but... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.166.156.250 (talk) 22:28, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
