Roscelese : Re change you made @ 20:53, 7 July 2011, primary schools are listed within Wiki and are notable, if you follow the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Primary_schools_in_England you will find more then one and therefore I believe this school which will be 100 years old next year deserves a place within the Wikipedia.

The argument that "other stuff exists is not a valid one.--Charles (talk) 08:50, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Charlesdrakew : This school is historic because of it's age and setting, also I question why Wikipedia has an index for Primary Schools if we can't add significant schools or is Wiki becoming a dictatorship and will only allow articles that the editors want it and deletes others??? Just because you personally have never heard of the school does not mean it's not important. Sorry but the policy of allowing editors to randomly remove an article at there whim makes it feel more of an elitist site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Swatcat (talkcontribs) 02:32, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Primary schools are rarely treated as notable on Wikipedia and I cannot see anything notable about this one. The policy is to merge primary schools with their local settlement or sometimes with the historic building they use.--Charles (talk) 09:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because it is straight from the Oakwood School's website, I just had not had the chance to put the citation on to the page. https://oakwoodschool.co.uk/about-us/history-and-alumni/ I work for the marketing agency for Oakwood School who have asked for this Wikipedia page to go up for them so have been given the right to put this information on to Wikipedia and so therefore it is not a copyright infringement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexheath1994 (talkcontribs) 12:25, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First you have a serious conflict of interest. Secondly the school is not notable for Wikipedia.Charles (talk) 21:27, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
