I would argue that the page's two citations (one of which doesn't count as it's a blog) do not prove that it is anywhere near as remarkable as the Occupy Movement, nor remarkable at all. – Richard BB 15:59, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What on earth does the term "decolonize" mean, in the context of "The Occupy Movement"? The only place that Occupy has colonized is the parks they camped in; are you really trying to say that Occupy the Hood has been especially active in its attempts to break up Occupy Movement camps? If not, it would be helpful for this article to either use language that all of Barack Obama's grandparents would be able to understand (the white ones and the black ones) or else explain fully all technical terms used.

My guess as to what the term means is that it's just a fancy way of saying "get a non-white perspective." If this estimate is accurate, I submit that "get a non-white perspective" would be a more clear way of saying this, until, of course, the day that it becomes widespread knowledge that "decolonize" can refer to anything other than the literal transfer of power from a colonizing group to the native powers of a land. Evaluation[edit]

This article is focused on the topic, however, there is not much information on this page. There are no distractions in the article.

The article is neutral except for a claim that the movement is trying to "decolonize" the Occupy Movement. There is no citation for this claim, and it isn't well explained.

When checking the reference citations, the link to the second reference doesn't work. Can this be fixed or was it removed deliberately? I think this calls into question the validity of the claims related to this reference and should be double checked. The second reference is only cited alongside citations for references 3, 4, and 5, so is it needed? I think removing it would help with the reliability of this article.
