Merge?[edit]

Shouldn't the following articles be merged:

Americasroof 12:46, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The above link to Cimarron Territory is to a movie. Neutral Strip is now only a redirect to Oklahoma Panhandle, which is the surviving article. Bruin2 (talk) 20:22, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removed refimprove banner[edit]

Removed the references needed banner. Many references have been added, though a few are still needed. They have been individually marked. Bruin2 (talk) 16:16, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of "Cimarron"?[edit]

The article doesn't explain the origin of this name, which means "renegade slave" in most historical contexts. How did it get applied to this remote territory of the United States? Laodah 21:42, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Missouri Compromise claim[edit]

All:

In substantiating the Missouri Compromise claim, I have reviewed both references - the article making the claim has absolutely no references as to where they gathered their information and the second article only confirms the name of "No Man's Land". It would seem to be this claim should be removed from the article as it uses what looks to be an opinion article as substantiation.
