Overview
[edit]The article seemed to be describing SEO more than Online Presence Management. I made some changes to shift it. OPM is about more than just search engines. It encompasses everything and everywhere a brand might appear online, from mobile apps to business directories. Entries in these other databases are not there to boost search results, rather they are an ends in themselves. I'll make some more edits to make it more coherent when I have some more time...
Merger proposal
[edit]I'd like to propose that the stub-class social media management system (SMMS) article is merged into the more comprehensive online presence management article, specifically into the "social media marketing" section. I have several concerns with the SMMS article, and propose merging as an alternative to deletion. The SMMS article does not provide much in the way of new information, nor does the single cited reference seem to meet the notability guideline. The SMMS information contains unexplained buzzwords and does not add significant encyclopaedic value. Seba5tien (talk/contribs) 19:07, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
