Photo from Onufri's Main Office Wall[edit]

Ismail Kadare on Onufri Publishing House in Albanian

The photo of Ismail Kadare's statement was taken at the Onufri Publishing House's central office — it illustrates the Publisher's pride in the approval of Ismail Kadare. Originally the full photo was posted, which included an image of Kadare. The publisher gave me full rights to the image and agreed with my posting it on WP Commons. However, the image was removed at this link even though I had 100% rights to the photo. The photo was nominated for deletion on the basis it was a book cover, which it was not and was never proven to be. It was not COM:DW. It is a framed wall decoration illustrating the connection of Kadare and Onufri and how the company views that relationship with pride. Anyone can view the office personally. The bigger objection by the one who nominated it for deletion was to the image of Kadare himself on the photo, which I also had rights to via Onufri (who gave it to me). But the administrators and nominator were not patient to consider my argument; they just deleted it speedily thinking it was COM:DW violation. To achieve harmony and not engage in edit wars, I have uploaded a portion of my photo containing only the quotation and not the face of Kadare, even though I own the copyright to this image too. Please do not mark this image for further deletion without discussion on this talk page. --Rereward (talk) 19:11, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
