Stats[edit]

These stats don't make any sense. The article says it's 3 square miles, then the box has:

  • Total Land 6.3 square miles
  • Total Water 5.8 square miles
  • Total Area 0.5 square miles

What gives? What's the source? -Will Beback 03:52, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Whoever wrote this does not live in Orange, let alone Orange County. This area is not, nor has it ever been called "Orange Hills." There is a proper name for it, Santiago Hills. It is also commonly referred to as simply "East Orange." This area distinguishes itself from the rest of the city by socioeconomic and ethnicity. While the City of Orange median income is estimated at $85,000 for families, Santiago Hills median income can be estimated at roughly $100,000 for families. The city's Hispanic population is near 40%, while it's Asian population is under 10%, with nearly all the remaining being Caucasian. The Orange page claims that Orange is home to an overly proportioned Middle-Eastern population compared to surrounding areas. Santiago Hills is home to nearly that entire population, with East Orange being about 65% Caucasian and 25% Asian, with Hispanics at the remaining 10%. Also, the zip code information is near completely inaccurate, as this area used to be considered 92867, until nearly all foothill areas including some lowlands changed from 92867 to 92869. My numbers are estimates, and are determined by random sampling of the area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.129.51.62 (talk) 07:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
