Notable residents?
[edit]Notable residents or notable former residents? I don't think that they all are Ottawa residents right now. 67.117.147.32 (talk) 06:09, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Radium in Ottawa's water
[edit]The radium in Ottawa's water did not come from Luminous Processes and Radium Dial. The pdf file given as a so-called reference for that scarcely mentions radium, scarcely mentions Ottawa, and doesn't mention the two together. Ottawa's water comes from wells more than 800 feet deep. There is no contamination from anything on the surface. The real radium contamination problem can be read about in documents available from the US EPA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.135.167.130 (talk) 21:31, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
“So called Radium Girls’ and citations needed
[edit]The Radium Girls: the dark story of America’s shining women is the title of a book by Kate Moore, cited in the Wiki article “Radium Girls”. This book has extensive references that support these statements. There is a publisher in 2016 and another in 2017, with different subtitles. LC record available at https://lccn.loc.gov/2016040681. 'Citations needed' is not correct since references are available. BerndSchwarz (talk) 16:37, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
