I think there should be a better organization on this article regarding the evolutionary causes of parental care. In the section of the types of care, there are some explanations of the evolutionary cause of each type of behaviour, what I think belongs to the other section. It would be best to start with a description of what behaviors are in fact considered care, then to describe the distribution of care in the tree of life, and afterwards explaning in only one section the evolutionary causes of parental care. What do you think is the best way to organize the ideas written on this article?
Furthermore, there are three pages that explain the evolution and sexual conflicts of parental care: 1. Parental care, 2. Parental investment, and Paternal care. None of which serve as a central article from which the other can derive. It would be of great help, if all of this articles are revisited and reorganized in other to have a more sectioned and organized explanation of this behavior.
