This page is not unambiguously promotional, because i remove some paragraph from office web site and re-write by my self. I will add more information in the future and make it avoid Criteria List. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thomas tsai (talkcontribs) 11:11, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I was glad to find a Partclone page on Wikipedia. I've used it regularly over the last few years as part of the DRBL-live suite, and was curious about it's origins and usage outside of the live-cd I've been using. The article certainly could use some expansion, but in my opinion it's no more of an advertisement than the Windows 8 page, the dd page, or the Wikipedia page. Product Promotion

[edit]

I'm new to this but wanted to suggest defining the term "Partition Clone" and then including a section within the page using "Partclone" as an example of software specifically made for accomplishing this task for those who need a tool to do so. That would make your contribution easier to swallow and it would definitely look less like you trying to promote Partclone software. Because as of now that's exactly what your doing. Your promoting "Clonezilla" and one of the tools within it and the specific details of the tool. There are many software programs that have partition cloning as one of their features. For example here is one I randomly found in less than 10 seconds research. Its called AOMEI Partition Assistant and worked very well when I tried it. I think and hope you get the point. Just define "partition clone" and then you can use Partclone or Clonezilla as an example of specific software to accomplish partition cloning which is still promoting one specific product out of the many other software options for getting it done but wont look nearly as bad as what you have there now. Best of luck. Evets12982 (talk) 22:49, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
