Who are these Patareni who stink around ?

Since the band has never attracted attention of a bigger punk zine through out all these years, we decided as a promo material to explain few things about them. The band was formed in early 80s when first 2-then 3 and finally 4 teenagers gathered and decided to ease frustration and attract female audience with their ideas. The effect was of course the opposite, because they attracted only cops. That is how it started.They played so far around 20 gigs and they were thrown from the stage 15 times because of commercial sounds they were producing. Since they are at 40-50 releases (vinyl + cds), it automatically pushes them towards the Guiness Book of Records because the balance: 20 years/45 releases/20 concerts/15 expulsions equals the Patareni formula for success. Naturally that everyone that learned how to play in these years simply left the band playing folk for money. Only sax player (playing guitar coz that way teaching is for free ) remained the original member. He namely after all these years did not overcome second chord which appears when missed on a rare practice because the band can not manage to complete the permanent line-up. Same as in last century.Thus, the music is hardly digestible and texts are no better. Therefore, texts are in Croatian because fame abroad comes from no fame at home and Patareni are full of it.The band presents their opinions through their sound wall and no further explanations are necessary.

Many stuff is done in verry limited editions so it gets hard to be found or get any further informations. Also there's many hidden releases the band appearing on,but still as the fartzing. It is the rule of the band so lets face the part of their naked glorious ass's. Here is for the first time part of their hidden nasty secrets. Through all these years and all this releases they gained a reputation as a cult band and many wellknown bands claimed PATARENI for being one of their main influences, which was prooved by several tribute releases and several psycho-therapy treatments.

About BUKA

Their activity shows that behind everything are stinking feet of some Patareni members. Not so well hidden so smells terrible.Buka translated means 'noise' so it explains all. Life without fucking around was pure fucking around.If you can't take a joke-fuck off is Buka's moto All gramatical mistakes are done coz we cant better and even dont try coz lazyness/idleness shall be and respected and spreaded around-as Patareni's moto is.
