Move to Peleng (camera lenses) or Belomo Peleng, or merge into BelOMO?

[edit]

"Peleng" appears to be the product name of a series of fisheye lenses – in addition to the 8 mm, there's also a 17 mm (which is a full-frame fisheye rather than circular ) – from the vendor Belomo/BelOMO/BELOMO. If this particular lens series is deemed worthy of its own article, it should be moved from Peleng lens to something like Peleng (camera lenses) or Belomo Peleng, since "Peleng lens" isn't the actual name of the lens. And a hatnote should be put at Peleng. --83.255.55.91 (talk) 12:53, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you realise that "full-frame" and "circular fisheye" are not mutually exclusive descriptors. Samsara 11:55, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But yes, if there are different models, then they could be differentiated into separate articles. Samsara 12:06, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's actually the name of the company. As far as I can tell Peleng is a spin-off of BeLOMO that makes optics for the defence industry. The correct answer is that the lens doesn't have a name. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 17:36, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
