Depth about speakers

[edit]

The People's Convention was a very interesting event of this year and, while I did not attend, I do believe it will have potential staying power in American history. As the creator of the page for Maebe A. Girl, I discovered this page's creation. The sheer amount of content regarding individual speakers seems potentially excessive nevertheless, but I do trust the insight of the very experienced editor who wrote it. I am wondering if we should shorten these bits, only include lengthy information about specific notable speakers (such as those with Wikipedia pages themselves), or more thoroughly source the info given. Any or all of these options would appear to be a good way of making the page more manageable. What are everyone's thoughts? PickleG13 (talk) 03:46, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal of new pages for certain speakers

[edit]

Many of the speakers are listed in brackets, but do not have Wikipedia pages that these actually link to. Does this indicate an interest in creating pages for all of the speakers, if of course they meet the general notability guideline. I would be very interested in hearing from prior editors of this page, as well as others who visit and have thoughts on the matter. As I expressed in the section on "Depth about speakers", there may just be too many listed, but at least some of those without pages I propose should have them.
