Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here)this office has been engaged in significant historical issues over a period of over 40 years. The article does not promote the office as a commercial entity, but rather discusses the various cases which the office has been involved in over the years, and their historical significance, both in Chicago and nationally. The office is also linked to in another article on Wikipedia - law collectives - and the present article explains the survival of this particular law collective for a considerable period of time. If there are specific portions of the article which appear to be unambiguously promotional then they could be removed or altered, but the article itself deals with an institution of considerable historical interest. --Stainthorp (talk) 21:27, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I have now inserted multiple links which further demonstrate that this article is definitely not unambiguously promotional but rather deals with an institution which has had significant impact on political developments, primarily in Chicago but also nationally and internationallly. Please read the article carefully before deleting. If you think more changes are needed, let me know and I will take a look at them... (your reason here) --Stainthorp (talk) 22:20, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- Apologies for not responding soon. Yes, I see. My MO is to check the top and bottom of each page if I think it could be ad like. By chance this page sounded sort of advertise-like in the beginning, really promotional at the end (for example, the Litigation success section), and normal in between. I'll go through, remove the tag, and fix some ALL CAPS errors you have. Buggie111 (talk) 22:24, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
