I'd love to know where the contributor got those PLA SPECOPS patches. Those are sweet. I collect such crap from around the world, would love to get one. SkepticDragon (talk) 11:18, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on People's Liberation Army Special Operations Forces. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20081225103150/http://www.defencetalk.com:80/news/publish/navy/China_ready_to_use_force_on_Somali_pirates120016822.php to http://www.defencetalk.com/news/publish/navy/China_ready_to_use_force_on_Somali_pirates120016822.php
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Leadership?
[edit]We generally know who the commanders are of major PLA military units; do we have such information for the special forces? DOR (HK) (talk) 20:25, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes for some notable ones such as the two brigades belonging to PLANMC or PLAAF, but this is not the case for the majority of PLA Ground Force SF units. Also, I do not recommend adding more information before a rewrite is done since this article is using outdated sources. Fallen Legends (talk) 14:35, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
What happened to this page?
[edit]I remember this page having a lot more content. Now it barely qualifies as a stub. Could someone fill me in what the hell happened here? Colin Zhong (talk) 21:11, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Edit: Took a look at the version history, some random came in here and deleted a bunch of stuff under the guise of "Removed the outdated and inaccurate information on the various SOF teams, which has been rendered obsolete since the 2015-2018 Chinese military restructurings and reforms" yet provided no source of PLASOF being altered due to reforms. Can someone fix this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Colin Zhong (talk • contribs) 21:14, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Interlanguage links
[edit]Added interlanguage links to the 75th Special Forces Brigade and the 7th Marine Brigade ; If you find more articles on chinese wikipedia can you please add more or even translate the articles into english as this article is really really lacking information even compared to the Namibian special forces.
