(Roy) Peter Martin[edit]

I don't understand why this was deleted: the edit summary "rem entry without this personal name" seems overly terse. Could someone explain at greater length please? Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 20:04, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We only tend to add on dabs those with the personal name (given name+surname, not middle name+surname) of the dab, in this case Peter Martin, or if the bluelink suggests that he was commonly known as Peter Martin. In this case, I checked the blue link, which did not suggest that the entry was known as 'Peter Martin', so neither reason for addition seems to fit this specific entry. If he was commonly known simply as 'Peter Martin', then mention should be made in the bluelinked article. Boleyn (talk) 20:40, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
