Isn't it the Sabre Dance instead of Spartacus Peter sings? --Abdull 10:52, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

We need to ask someone who knows about classical music, and that wouldn't be me. I'll ask Anton Mravcek. Cromulent Kwyjibo 22:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Cartoon Wars & Betty White

I removed this point from the cultural references:

  • The cut-away scene may actually be a reference to the recent South Park episode Cartoon Wars where Family Guy was poorly drawn and its comical tendencies were mocked.

Cartoon animation (with the exception of south park) doesn't happen that fast. If family guy is going to respond to Cartoon Wars, it'll be in the next season. And I don't see how this could possibly be construed as anything more than a simpsons reference. As a second point; can it been confirmed that Betty White did her own voice in this episode? (Sure sounded like it). If so, that information should be on this page somewhere. (If not, the link in the Betty White article should be removed). risk 22:24, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Answer: Betty White's name is in the credits. It's actually her.

Good thing you removed it. Yeah I agree. South Park parodies everything. Whoever wrote this hasn't seen the disclaimer on South Park, the disclaimer they have CLEARLY says that everything is parodied badly, and I find it ridiculous to assume a bad drawing is a reference with South Park. Add-On Scenes

I've removed the "Add-on scenes" thingy as it was wholly fictional, and probably vandalism

Stewie on the floor

what's the music playing when Stewie doing the floor and swears that it isn't "gay"?

Dawson's Creek

On of the get-rich-schemes Peter and Carter tried, was Quahog Creek,a direct reference to Dawson's Creek. Since I'm new in editing, and don't know how to add links and stuff, would someone add it? Mikemits42 21:58, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Discussion of Notes

I noticed someone put in the fact that Peter turned down $1 million from Carter in Death Lives, but fantasizes about killing Lois after she tells him she turned down $10 million. I disagree with their argument that this proves that carter convinced Peter that the poor life is bad. Referring to Death Has A Shadow (pilot) when peter gets $150k per week, he spends it all on luxuries, showing he's greedy from the start. Should we edit that part of the page?

It's up to you to think that this proves or doesn't prove "that carter [sic] convinced Peter that the poor life is bad." The fact remains that this is a textual parallel between two episodes that needs to be mentioned. What the critics make of this parallel is up to them. Cromulent Kwyjibo 23:10, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Scientology reference?

imo, the name of the character "Leeroy Hotdog Sanzabar" from Peter's book resembles L. Ron Hubbard alot, and the term "his really cool spaceship" are the DC-8s from the Xenu story (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenu) 85.179.20.70 00:40, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Betty White Moment?

Can we change the wording of the betty white moment, saying "she came looking for the person who put her voice on the tapes" It makes it seem like they somehow stole her voice and used to for the narration while she was unaware. Clearly she would be aware of what she was doing, and is just annoyed that she's getting subpoenaed and is looking for someone to talk to about this. Can we change the wording to reflect this?
