Phacops caudatus
[edit]Should Phacops caudatus be on the list of species or is it no longer considered a species?Geni (talk)
- Phacops caudatus is now assigned to Dalmanites, while the original combination was Trilobus caudatus. Cherio, Dwergenpaartje (talk) 18:34, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Phacops africanus
[edit]Is there a reason why Phacops africanus isn't mentioned? I stumbled across it here: s:Page:South African Geology - Schwarz - 1912.djvu/151 --Tobias1984 (talk) 09:12, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- The list of species is nowhere complete, that, and we should be sure that P. africanus hasn't bee referred to another genus like several other notable species, like "Phacops rana" being moved to Eldgreops.--Mr Fink (talk) 14:34, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! I can't access any of the new publications that mention the species, so this will have to wait until someone can read up on the status. --Tobias1984 (talk) 16:18, 23 May 2016 (UTC)

Phacops rana
[edit]As Eldredgeops rana is no longer in Phacops, the images should be changed to actual Phacops specimens. This can get confusing- especially to someone who may only be skimming over the article if they are unaware of the change. Photos of the eye lenses would be extremely beneficial too.
