Hi I'm Sheena the photoSIG Administrator, photoSIG has no problem with this being copied from our about page. If anyone wants to contact me about it you can email me at sheena@photosig.com.
- Hi, thank you Ma'am for your response. The issue isn't only the copyright - the issue also has to do with WP:SPAM - or the tone of the article. It appears that photoSig is certainly notable, but the tone of the article is part of the problem. Also, if you wish to use the text, could you please follow the instructions at template:sd-copyvio for emailing us (it makes things much easier). Thanks. The Evil Spartan 23:45, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
If you need to delete this I understand. Someone posted this here but I think it needs to be written objectively from a user of the community and we've had someone volunteer to do that. So if you want to delete this or let him edit it, you decide what will be best. Thanks very much. ~ Sheena —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.86.53.249 (talk) 03:19, August 30, 2007 (UTC)
- The text will remain for a few days yet if someone has time to start in the meantime. The Evil Spartan 03:29, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
I've rewritten the article from scratch. It may still need some improvement, but it should at least be neutral and free of copyright concerns now. -Adam —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.119.125.17 (talk) 05:31, August 30, 2007 (UTC)
I've added some sections, and those two pictures, i hope my English was correct enough, please correct if necessary and I hope I didnt seriously break any laws by putting those two pictures up. --Alllfff 02:35, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Photosig is gone
[edit]This Wikipedia article makes note that Photosig has been offline since about April. It disappeared without any notice to paid members, of which I'm one, and there's been no apparent effort by the owners of the site to explain what happened.
It's a shame, because it was a good community and over the 10 years or so of using it you get to know people a little. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.209.21.210 (talk) 14:42, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'm the editor (and a 10 year photoSig poster) who added that section to the article. it is interesting that Sheena posted here, on this talk page in 2007, but NOT in 2014. Carptrash (talk) 23:38, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
It would appear that photosig is dead and gone. I have taken the liberty to change the tense to past tense as it does not appear like photosig will be making a return. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fabian9 (talk • contribs) 21:47, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
The discussion of the (apparent) end of the site and factors leading to it should be reworded to reflect a neutral POV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.140.45.146 (talk) 00:09, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- Although it's a shame what's happened, I'd like to express my thanks to Willis Boyce and all those who were involved with Photosig and Artsig. The sites were great while they lasted. Dadge (talk) 15:56, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
